The midwest's largest juried show devoted to living history and accoutrements.
APRIL
14th - 17th
Battalion Spring Drill - Old Fort Wayne Detroit.

MAY
13th - 15th
Walker Tavern - Brooklyn, MI
Reenactors create a lively atmosphere, portraying military and civilian life of the Civil War. Will involve battle reenactments, artillery and infantry demonstrations, hands-on activities, craft demonstrations, period reproduciton goods.

Memorial Day Civil War Remembrance. Pre-registration mandatory. 5th KY ration issue. This is a garrison event.
JUNE

Fort Meigs "Muster on the Maumee" - Perrysburg, OH
Fathers' Day Weekend. Company max effort. Muster on the Maumee is one of the nation's largest and most diverse timeline
events. See the evolution of the common soldier from the Roman Legionnaire to the Vietnam G.I. Costumed interpreters from throughout the United States and Canada demonstrate weapons, skills, trades, and camp life activities from the many different time periods. Also featuring historic vendors, craftsmen, and performers.

Waterloo Farm Weekend
Blacksmiths, Soldiers & Log Cabin - Waterloo, MI
Michigan Artist Blacksmith Association members demonstrate their skills at the fixed forge and their own portable forges. Re-enactors portray the Civil War era, and the Farm joins the statewide celebration of Michigan's Log Cabins on Sunday. Admission fee to grounds.

Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Center - Fremont, OH
Step back in time to the days of America's Civil War. Listen for the thunder of advancing cavalry units and steel yourself against the bone-shaking fire of cannon. Hundreds of reenactors camp on the grounds of a presidential estate for this two-day event featuring battle re-creations, period entertainment, demonstrations, food and wares. Event admission $4/adult, $2/children 6-12. Special "Reenactment Weekend" discounts of $4/adult, $2/children 6-12 offered for tours of Hayes Home and Museum.
8th & 9th
Waterloo Farm Pioneer Day - Waterloo, MI
This fall festival is a cornucopia of activities including rug-hooking, quilting, spinning,
wagon rides, and much more. Fall produce and baked goods are offered for sale. The forge is fired, the bake oven spews out molasses cookies,
and cool butter is sampled. The house and all the outbuildings are open for tours. Dewey School has special activities for children. This is
the most exciting afternoon of the season. Admission fee to grounds.
